Global Minds Summer School: Ideas, Disciplines, Collaboration is an international academic programme designed for doctoral candidates who wish to strengthen their research skills, broaden their interdisciplinary perspective and develop meaningful academic connections. The School combines intensive workshop-based learning, international expert input, collaborative activities and reflective assignments focused on the contemporary challenges of academic work. Its core thematic areas include international research collaboration, efficiency in scientific work, and entrepreneurial impact in academia.
The programme supports participants in developing practical competences needed to work effectively in international and interdisciplinary research environments. Through parallel workshop tracks, participants explore how to cooperate in international scientific teams, organise their research workflow, communicate academic ideas beyond academia, and translate research-based knowledge into social, institutional or practical impact. The in-person programme is complemented by a virtual component delivered via Moodle, including a pre-assignment before arrival and a final reflective assignment after the Summer School.
The main aim of the course is to help participants reflect on their academic development, identify the skills and knowledge gained during the Summer School, and connect them with their own doctoral research, future collaborations and personal growth as young researchers.
